Flower piece

My grandfather died on December 31, 2017. I had a very special relationship with him and his loss is a very big loss. I have been working in a flower shop since the beginning of December 2017. I think it’s fantastic to be able to work here. Now I can express my creativity even in the weekend in a way that doesn’t even feel like working.

Through my work I have been given the opportunity to make the grave work of my grandfather himself. This was something very special. A special experience. My grandfather loved to travel and was a real adventurer. In the past, as a little girl, I always went on an adventure with my grandfather. I have also been able to make beautiful trips with him.

I wanted to create something cheerful with tropical flowers. Because he didn’t want anything else than that we would secretly turn it into a small party. Life had to be celebrated, he thought.

One of his last words … “live life Robin, live it to the fullest.”
